Usage Guidelines

Ensure paintwork is dry and thoroughly cleaned prior to application. Fortress can be used by hand application or by machine.

To apply by hand simply use a soft foam pad and work into the paint surface in small circular motions and apply thinly.  After a period of 5-10 minutes simply buff the excess product off with a soft microfibre buffing cloth.

To apply by dual action polisher or rotary polisher, apply to a soft finishing pad and use on the machine polisher at a slow speed to apply a thin layer of fortress to the painted surface, allow to haze and buff with a soft microfibre buffing cloth to remove the excess products. Never apply and allow to dwell on surfaces in direct sunlight. Always check the suitability of the product for your vehicle first, by doing a quick test.

Dilution Ratio – Up to 500:1

A couple of capfuls of tracer is all that’s needed in a 20L wash bucket of clean water to wash your vehicle and leave behind that superb 50cal shine.

Usage Guidelines

Depending on the degree of contamination Tracer can be used at varying dilutions. For heavy soiling, the recommended dilution with clean water is 50:1. For general cleaning and light soiling a dilution of 500:1 should suffice.

For best results add a couple of capfuls to an empty wash bucket. Apply a high pressure hose to the bucket at achieve a thick rich foam moose. Using a dedicated lamb’s wool mitt, apply the foam to the surface of the vehicle in long sweeping movements. Remove / rinse any remaining residue with clean water. Never apply and allow to dwell on surfaces in direct sunlight. Always check the suitability of the product for your vehicle by doing a quick test.
