It’s essential that this IPA is diluted correctly before using on any automotive surfaces and it should be used on a small test area before proceeding.

IPA is used as a disinfectant-steriliser-anti-bacterial cleaning agent – Isopropyl Alcohol kills bacteria, fungus and viruses. Used to disinfect medicinal objects, prevents the spread of disease, and is commonly used to kill germs on all surfaces. Isopropyl Alcohol 70% solution is recommended for high strength cleaning or disinfecting purposes. Dilute this 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol by adding water to create a suitable solution.
For detailing use we would advise diluting this product down to at least 80% water and 20% IPA at first and testing on an inconspicuous area should always be carried out. 

Safety Advice: Fumes are quite powerful, so always use it in a well-ventilated area. Both the liquid and its fumes are flammable, so keep it far from heat sources. Microfibre wash mitts are designed to safely remove dirt and grime from your vehicle without the risk of damage.  The deep pile microfibre strands safely lift dirt away from the paint during washing.  The Speckled Jim has deep plush soft  microfibres meaning that any debris or shrapnel on your paintwork gets lifted up into the fibres away from the surface.  Unlike traditional car sponges which are too rigid and hold dirt and grit against your paint as they’re moved over the surface of your vehicle, a microfibre wash mitt has a much lower risk due to the high density of fine fibres.

The extra foam padding inside the mitt also helps to keep you comfortable and spreads the pressure across the surface of the mitt. Wash your car, van, bike or caravan in complete comfort and control.

How to use the Clay Bar

Prepare your vehicle by thoroughly cleaning the surfaces including an iron removal and tar removal.

Separate the clay bar into 3 or 4 manageable pieces.  Before use of a piece, it can be warmed in your hands to make it easier to use.

Wet the surface you intend to clay bar with a clay lubricant of your choice.  Stealth last touch detailer can be used.

Apply a piece of the claybar to the lubricated surface and move the clay bar in a back and forth motion. Regularly check the clay bar condition and cleanliness.  When the claybar becomes contaminated fold it in half once to enclose the contaminated surface in the centre of the clay and to reveal a new clean surface to work with. Continue this process until all surfaces are smooth to the touch or no contamination is visible on the clay bar.

After use if the piece of claybar is not totally contaminated it can be returned to the plastic case for storage for future use. Moderately contaminated clay can be reused on areas such as wheels or even on glass. Badly contaminated clay should be discarded.

When it come to a prewash this is the product you require. It has been formulated from the latest surfactant technology to be extremely aggressive on dirt but kind to paintwork. When it comes to trying to soften or remove heavy winter road grime, frontline is extremely effective. We even went as far as to add a fantastic Cherry fragrance to help the first stage of your wash program at least smell a little better!

Depending on the degree of soiling, Frontline can be diluted up to 100:1. Simply apply to the dirty paint work with a spray bottle or foam lance. Allow to dwell for 2-5 minutes then power wash off. This will leave the paintwork ready for the next detailing stage.

Never apply and allow to dwell on vehicle in direct sunlight.

Ambush superfoam is a high strength snow foam which is a long cling foam, is unsurpassed by its dwell time and cleaning ability. Ideally Ambush superfoam is used in a dedicated snow foam lance at high pressure. When mixed correctly it will produce a thick mousse like foam which adheres to vertical surfaces for up to 30 minutes. This is as close to a ‘touch less’ wash as you will get and it will not degrade any prior surface treatments.

Ambush snow foam also has a built in wax and dewatering aid to further help the rinsing of the product from the vehicle. It works extremely efficiently on the removal of break dust and road film on wheels thus potentially rendering the need to use a secondary alloy wheel cleaner unnecessary. We recommend using a starting dilution of 1.5 to 2 inches into a 1lt wash bottle, topped up with ideally deionised water that’s attached to the foaming lance. The air intake and pressure should be set to the maximum settings available. The product is also enhanced with a rich Bubblegum smell.

Combat is a PH neutral safe pre wash product.  So mild you could shower with it yourself, however when used correctly the hands on cleaning power of this product will leave your vehicle looking as good as when it left the showroom.  Developed with the latest technology, we have been able to achieve an extremely mild yet powerful product.  Not only does it smell fantastic but it also helps to soften dirt during your pre wash stages, making it easier for you to clean your car with having to apply any pressure to remove dirt and grime.

We recommend using Combat snow foam in a snow foam lance.  Simply add approximately 100ml of Combat into a 1L snow foam bottle and fill the rest with 900ml of fresh clean water.  This should result in a medium density foam and would be approximately a 100:1 dilution rate.  If you live in a hard water area or would like to have thicker foam, simply add some more combat to the mixture.

Depending on the degree of contamination Combat can be used at varying dilutions. For heavy soiling, the recommended dilution with clean water is 5:1 and for moderate soiling, 10:1. For general cleaning and light soiling a dilution of 20:1 should suffice. The easiest way to use Combat is through a snow foam lance but it can also be added to a sprayer or simply to a bucket like a shampoo and applied with a lambs wool mitt.  Remove / rinse any remaining residue with clean water. Never allow to dwell on surfaces in direct sunlight. Always check the suitability of the product for your vehicle first, by doing a quick test.
